Jennifer Orr: The spicy ramen is delicious, any of the special rolls and do get the mochi!
Sabina: I know everyone's talking about the Candlestick roll but you gotta get the Shizen Shiitake from the hot section and the Boddy and Soul roll from the speciality rolls. Do it
J.T. Trollman: The specialty rolls are amazing. Some of the best sushi of my life doesn't even contain fish? I can't believe it.

Jeremy Melul: Speciality rolls are delish. Can’t go wrong with any of them. Soft spot for “Great balls of fire” and the “Half Baked”.
Zach Hamed: Everything is fantastic and staff makes great recommendations — try the daily special rolls and small plates.
Tobias Schmidt: Hard to go wrong with anything here but the uni, the great balls of fire and especially the magic mushroom roll were spectacular!

Aaron Ng: Love this place. Great sushi, awesome specialty rolls, desserts and entrees too. Try the double hamachi roll. Don't get the udon.
Graci M: Over-rated. They seem to focus on specialty rolls and overlook the basics. The ingredients are fresh, but the quality of the fish wasn't what I expected. My rolls fell apart!
Leslie: The chirashi was beautiful and delicious -- and included some veggies and pickles, too!

Markus Pasula: this is now pretty much one of the best restaurants on the planet!
Missus Snowflake: Deliciously fabulous!

Leef Smith: YUM! Excellent salmon burger for deli counter in back
Jonathan W: Incredible. Salmon roe is really good as is the salmon poke. The sushi is some of the best in SF. I like the caterpillar roll. Seaweed salad is the best in the city. Super friendly service to boot.

Lucia Cisilotto: Best sushi in town by far, ask for the special rolls! All of them are excellent, ask the waitresses, they know what to bring!
Runqiu Cai: Amazing sushi and great value. Get the $75/person prix fixe menu. The 1849 oyster, toro truffle caviar, hamachi pear, and green tea creme brûlée are the best.
Ken Wallis: Get the sunrise roll, nothing like Quail egg, salmon and tobiko

Zhanna: The best sushi experience I've ever had. All house special rolls are simply delicious and sake is great as well. I will come back for more.
Bommy: Very popular spot so either make reservations or come early and sit at the bar. Hamachi truffle is delicious and the uni + quail egg is a must for uni fans.
Sabina B.: Start with the Waldo Carpaccio (go off menu and ask, it's worth it) & Hamachi Truffle, and follow those up with the Himalayan Trout, Flaming Sea Bass, and Boombox (sans banana...thank me later).

Pacific Union: This lovely neighborhood spot has been around for years. Highly recommend the sukiyaki. Aki, the owner and one of the sushi chefs, makes delicious sushi!
Ana Clare Smith: The nigiri combo is great but a lot for one person. All of the fish is very high quality, it melts in your mouth the way you want sushi to. Overall great place!
eifeh: Sushi is pretty good and affordable. Service was good too. Dinner bentos came with miso, salad, and rice. I'd come here again.
