Their meal prices are steep but they have a nice selection of sandwiches at "Denny's type" prizes ($6-$9) and their service tends to rocks rather than suck! (old school waiter troop)

Sorry. The dough is not right. It should have bubbles in the crust, the consistency oughtn't be that of a pie. The tomato is not right either. Last, vinegar-marinated anchovies on a pizza, really?

Great supermarket. Produce section is well stocked and clean, with products not found in other supermarkets. Plus , many cash registers are open all the time so lines move quickly.

Not impressed. The pizza 🍕 tasted like it had been defrosted and then reheated, the wine selection not that great considering the least expensive is $49, and the drinks were very weak. Best avoided.

The address is 2 Cil Jose M Tartak Street, Carolina. Some app listings have it on Tartak Street, which will take you on the wrong side of Avenida Isla Verde. This location is on the water.
Paella Negra was a huge hit, also loved the clam and mussels pizza. Excellent mojitos, lovely staff.

To get to old san juan take the 53 or 21bus route outside of the hotel across from the diamond palace. Its .75 cents so make sure you carry coins, they don't take dollar bills, to get back same routes
