Park is awesome for mountain bikes, especially when rainy or wet.
Horses, mountain bikers and hikers CAN co-exist. Very hot in the summer so come early. Spectacular views reward the climbs

Great trail to get around San Jose and Los Gatos. Take it past Los Gatos to the Lexington reservoir and beyond, for great road, cross, mountain, and gravel biking opportunities.
Nice parking lot next to the trail. Can go all the way down to LG if you have a long run planned.

Try the New Alameda trail to Hacienda. Butt burner to the max!To loop around by taking Randol trail to Buena Vista where there are neat historical sites. Take New Almaden back to mockingbird hill lot.
