Josean Emma Prusch donated the 87 acres of land in 1962, the city then began to use volunteers to build and preserve 47 acres of the original land. It opened to the public in 1983 as a park & a farm.

Big amphitheater in the west end of the park. Great place to ride your bike.

Park on the outside of the parking structures, increases your walk a little but makes for a much quicker exit!

Come early when visiting here or Happy Hollow. There is a small lot on Phelan Ave. right next to History Park where you can park for free when spots are available!

I love this park but it is definitely not a great race venue unless it's a 1000 or less people. The path gets narrow and it's hard to run. If you do an event here just walk. It's safer.
