The ultimate spot for a beachy-escape, this ocean front hotel manages to feel luxe and casual at the same time. Incredibly kid-friendly as well.
What a great place to enjoy art for a day. It is right off the Expo Line, which is convenient.
Amazing artworks, so many artists. It was a fun adventure for me :) Next time, I'll go by myself and seriously, need to buy some of their awesome art stuff for the apartment!

Excellent menu, impeccable service, views of the ocean and pier, cocktails before or after in the sumptuous hotel lobby make you feel like visiting royalty. On my list of favourites.
I've never been to a restaurant where the server seemed scared to come to the table. Then I had lunch here.
Filet was tasty as were sides. “Special” salad was pretty bland. $5 for bread!

The Black Truffle Grilled Cheese with Crispy Onion Rings are a perfect comfort food. Pair it with a glass of wine or beer. The portion size is perfect, which makes it not over the top indulgent.
