Jacob Wonderbar is my fave - a dark, rich roast named for Philz CEO Jacob Jaber and recommended by Phil himself. If you're not up for the mint, the regular Ecstatic Iced Coffee is great + strong.

awesome staff who are knowledgable about their beans, they make a great cold brew (ice drip in their terms) with a great chocolate truffle ground. and they make a great grind for take-home too.

1/2 dozen was good. Iced coffee with cream and sugar is too sweet.
Don't let the line discourage you. LA has a lot of donut enthusiasts, including myself. Once you're at the front, get a box of a dozen donuts. Make sure to throw in a few Boston Cream Pie donuts too!
Cold brew coffee!
Kyoto-style cold brew = rocket fuel for my day. Make sure to order it before it sells out around 2 PM.
The only good coffee in an area that is full of chains and fast food. Cold brew is solid here as well as their espresso drinks. It's not visible from the street, you have to head into the office park.
The donuts are so good here, probably in my top 3 anywhere. Ask for anything that's hot but make sure to try the Butter & Salt and wash it down with a Stumptown Vietnamese iced coffee.
Huckleberry donut and malasada (Monday only) were so good: perfectly fresh, not too sweet, nicely chewy. They went well with the cold brew.

Actual food menu and seating make this a madhouse on weekends (especially compared to Main St. location). Still, have to love their cold brew.
