Study the menu carefully; there is a huuuuuge difference in what your bill will be if u order combo dishes vs a la carte. Old, classic diner. Stay away on weekend brunch = lines of hungover yuppies.

The first time I ever went here, the bartender put my first drink on the house. I guess that's not really a tip, but you should take it for what it's worth. Awesome place!

The Black Truffle Grilled Cheese with Crispy Onion Rings are a perfect comfort food. Pair it with a glass of wine or beer. The portion size is perfect, which makes it not over the top indulgent.
