Ritter's is great, hearty, comfort food. I always get the house pan roast, spicy level 8. I could eat that every day. I have also tried his clan chowder that is also thick and perfectly seasoned.
The food is good but the service really sucks. It took an hour to get seated and once we were seated it took 30 mins to even get bread and water when other tables were immediately served.
One hour later still waiting for food... isnt it known that five hangry girls result in bad consequences?

The small plate of Mac n cheese are horrible. No flavor, just taste like burned cheese.
Got a half BBQ Chicken salad to-go for around $8-9. Was a good size for 1. I added more BBQ when I got home. Wish you didn't have to pay more for avo... but overall, love it.
It's my favorite place to dine at South Coast Plaza. Everything on the menu is fantastic. The sea bass was amazing.

Great lunch buffet (11am-4pm) at a great price ($10). Chicken Tika Masala, Palaka(cream spinach) and Masala Mushrooms (peas, onions, mushrooms) are my favorite. Served with fresh naan (plain/garlic).
Have the Indian buffet for lunch with co-workers.
Great buffet with fun selection, would be lying if I said a main draw wasn't the slightly confusing Bollywood programming.
