You've made the trip, so grow some cojones and commit to something different. The beef cheek will surprise you with its juiciness. The tongue has a pleasant texture. The eye is unexpectedly succulent.
The asada and pork tacos were my favorite. Stellar tacos. I wasn't a fan of the beef cheek but I'm not generally a fan of steamed meats.
We really enjoyed the beef and pork tacos, smothered in cilantro, onion, and lime. At $1.60 a pop, you can't beat that!
Tony and Todd are legends. Garlic mashed potatoes and any steak cut with a good cocktail and your in heaven.
The sirloin steak dinner and a manhattan. For the win. The steak was cut like a filet and cooked PERFECTLY. Had the steamed clams as an app and that shit blew my mind. EPIC little place. Legendary.
You can eat yourself to death here. Go for the prime ribs or steak - be sure to have space and appetite left when the meat comes! Great service as well, and the staff really seems to enjoy their work

The Molcajete is no joke! Comes to the table bubbling like lava in a lava rock bowl. Get the Sea & Earth version for a taste of everything (fish, shrimp, chicken, chorizo, steak).

The who's who of SB. I always see 10+ people I know, & for out-of-towners, it's great people watching. Try the Mr. Lucky, skirt steak salad, gruyere potatoes, &molten lava cake! $$$ but all delicious!

Do not get their sirloin steak for breakfast. I ordered it to make my custom eggs benny with steak, big mistake! Worse steak I've EVER had! Everyone else's breakfast was average. Nothing special.

Brussels sprouts are insanely tasty. The hanger steak is phenomenal but could have had more steak and less broccoli. The beef cheeks with bone marrow is rich and decadent. The ice cream sandwich OMG

Ask for the Jasper's Benedict. It's not on their main menu but it's delicious. Corn beef hash instead of ham on the Benedict!!! Sooo good.
