The food ( espresso too) is healthy and delicious. The people are warm and engaging. The restaurant has a fun yet intimate neighborhood feeling. Hi Spot is one of my favorite breakfast spots.

I always order the queso fundido con chorizo (instead of chips and guac). It is gloriously delicious.
Order the ridiculously-good guacamole. Don't worry- "market price" is about the same price as the other appetizers (~$8 when I visited).
Their ultimate margarita with the chile infused tequila is bomb. Go for their two happy hours bcuz the prices are great. Food is great but gets super loud.

Great happy hour everyday from 3-6 and 9-close. Go with a $2 Tecate, and $5 tacos. Or spice up your night with a 32oz beer, and a shot of tequila for rent bucks. Oh yeah, chips and salsa!
The butternut squash enchilada is great, and the Sage cocktail is delicious - sweet without being too sweet, with wonderful tangerine notes.
Advertised as "Tex Mex" but it's not (IMO, and I lived in Austin for 20+ years) but it's damn fine Mexican food. Damn fine.

The setting was awesome - I loved how they have a Korean fusion menu and a full bar throughout the entire show. We saw Alice in Wonderland, which was seductively whimsical :)

Surprisingly, one of the best pool halls in the city. The tables are really nice and there's shuffle board upstairs. Full bar and plenty of places to lounge.
