Free flow of cabbage with ur crunchy katsu. The loin katsu is really yummy with its fatty bits. Set meal also comes with miso soup, chawamushi and dessert.
Always satisfied after a meal at this chain of tonkatsu. Other outlet at 313 B2. Large loin set ($24) comes with silky chawanmushi and free refill of crunchy cabbage and gd quality Japanese rice.

I eaten them since young and standard was consistently very delicious. It is worthwhile to queue for one of best curry rice in town. Try sotong, pock chop & cabbage combination was the best.

If you're craving for a great tonkatsu, Saboten is the place to go. Free refills on rice, finely shredded cabbage, and miso soup. For donburi fans, I recommend their Hunwari tenderloin katsudon!

It’s unique. While waiting for your katsu, you’ll grind the sesame seeds then mix it with the sauce to dip your katsu with. The sauce for the cabbage is also nice. Cant stop eating then.
Their standard Tonkatsu set is substantial. Lasted me for hours! Had lunch there & 3 hrs later, still felt full. It didn't help that they offered unlimited shredded cabbage (drizzle w sesame sauce)
The deep fried katsu is indeed lovely, and truly in Nagoyan spirit. The refill cabbage and rice is the big plus; however, the staff still lack of service mind, slow and not attentive.

Delicious kiam Chye, steamed cuttlefish, sweet pork chop. Authentic teo chew porridge. Reasonable pricing compared to many other stalls. Delicious fried mee Siam served in the mornings.
Good old fashioned teochew porridge. The consistency of the rice broth keeps me wanting bowl after bowl. Every dish is delicious.
