Cheen The Curious: Besides the standard fried chilli paste, upon request, they also serve hae bee hiam (spicy dried shrimp sambal), which gives an added texture and fragrance
Ting: Swanky interiors. Love the little touches - Kung-fu tea served at the beginning & end of the meal and the hae bi heam (shrimp chili paste) condiment. The oyster pancake (Orh Luah) is outstanding.
Ting: The steam eel teochew style (潮蒸白鳝) is a great alternative to the more common steam pomfret. Delicate yet with bite, the burst of fish oil complements the broth really well. Requires pre-order.
Cheen The Curious: Their shark head cartilage dish is interesting. The cartilage itself is tasteless, but when fried with their chilli paste, the pairing is zesty amazing!
Elizabeth Lee: Damn shiok steamed soon hock fish tail. Try their prawn paste chicken and ngor hiang. Best!
Max Lim: MUST try their steamed fishes, any fish also very fresh. Exotic variety of fishes from shark, parrot-mouth, 忘不了 ( $180/kg ).... etc

Fuad Huat: Green curry and Tom yum chili paste is the bomb, but their clear Tom yum soup isn't that awesome
Anh Han: Tasty and cheap. Go for pandan chicken, green curry, basil chicken, pad thai. Thai style fish is good too.
K: Beef Noodles here rocks!
Cheen The Curious: Fried Hokkien Mee. Authentic Fried Hokkien Mee #01-82 (right) was wetter, more aromatic & flavourful, with punchier chilli paste — compared to Kim Hai #01-102. The waiting time is also longer 😂
David Low: Nice Kuching kolok mee! Authentic taste~!
Firlia Natasha Simon: Slice fish soup at stall #01-66 is awesome !! Damn nice ! Try it !
