Croissants is the thing in this bakery, while not buttery, its really crispy but not to flakish.
Comfy seats, big fans keep the air moving, great location, somerset MRT and for people watching. Decent Japanese food too. If they have Espresso Stout on tap get it! Caveat: everything's a bit pricey.

Incredibly packed on Fridays and Saturdays, get in by 5pm or you won't find a table. Good for weekend daytime drinking too.

Lovely place with high ceiling, very crowded on weekdays from very early morning, but have enough seets on saturday. Closes at 16:00 on saturday, not opening on sunday.
Friendly staff. Good Mexican food and they have Mexican beers. Good people watching as well and the funky colours of the decor will definitely cheer you up.

It has a lot of things to offer. I enjoyed the photography exhibition in March 2012, for instance! Great regular events with nice DJs too! A place to have fun no matter what time of the day it is. ;-)

One of my favourite malls in Singapore. It's relaxing and I love the natural lighting. For good food you have so many options at the basement going to the MRT and also upstairs at the food court.
Enjoy the glass covered shopping street (1st in the country) with shophouse themed buildings!
