Fresh unagi that’s grilled really nicely without turning out dry! Loved the rice-unagi-dashi broth method of eating, as well as the fresh wasabi that you have to grate by yourself 😉

Unagi savoury or sweet.. both just as good. Fresh wasabi is the best for the Dashi broth.
Lots of unagi meat that can be eaten in 4 different ways - original, with wasabi, with the broth, with seaweed and spring onions.

Asahi Black on tap. Japanese waitresses you have to beat in scissors-paper-stone to get to your edamame. Customised wet towels. Perfectly perfected food (if a little on the tiny side). Heaven. Sigh.
