Din Tai Fung will always have my favorite soup dumplings. The Xinyi Rd. location is the original and the wait can be very long. Favorite soup dumplings are the shrimp with loofah. Try fried rice too!
The original. Classic flavors unique to it's location. Small venue, but cozy and very efficient. Great service. Get the house special shrimp and pork wontons.

Dumplings are decent but not as good as Ding Tai Fung. Shrimp and loofah dumplings are the best. Crab roe dumplings lack flavor. Other foods are okay, but not special. Takes reservations.

Get the red bean xiao long bao. So yummy. The bean thread spicy noodles was yummy also. Shrimp soup dumplings were delicious. Yum.

The most amazing dumpling spot ever. Eats lots of food here. It’s like none other. The dumplings are creamy with flavors that melt in your mouth. They’re made to perfection.

Lively, informal atmosphere- food is fresh and delicious and cheap! Try the steamed clams, the grilled prawns and chicken fried rice. There are photos of the food available for non-Chinese speakers
Please call in advance for reservation, or else, you will not able to dine there...so overall is good. Their roast steak is good.

Famous for their chasiu pork buns for a reason--super delicious and buttery. Shrimp and spinach dumplings were also good. Most others were pretty average. Wait can be long. Last call at 21:30.

This is my fave Din Tai Fung in Taipei for its convenient location and relative shorter line. Get the shrimp wontons in chili oil. Pro Tip: there’s a Din Tai Fung app that shows your queue position
Shrimp dumpling good one , overall good but it’s overrated, i think it’s tourist place not really really dumplings
The pork Xiao long bao are famous for good reason. The pot stickers (fried dumplings) are also delicious. Another good thing about the venue is that it is less crowded than the Taipei 101 branch.
