Fantastic museum full of artifacts and exhibits about the history of Tampa. The museum includes films and exhibits about the Tampa cigar industry and a replica of a 1920s cigar shop.

Mainly aimed at kids (I have none), but the special exhibit & IMAX Dome films are highly recommended for all & tickets to just those may be bought. Parking is on-site for $4.
Yes it's small. However, it holds solid exhibitions and events in a beautiful space and location.

Great museum with interesting current exhibits, primarily with Yayoi Kusama’s LOVE IS CALLING on display. Be advised you have to wait in line for it, and only get 2 minutes inside. Still great!
Go to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo and see the white tiger in the Asian Gardens exhibit. I took my niece to the exhibit and she had a blast watching the tiger pace back and forth!
Get there right at opening to see the animals before they hide in the shade to cool off. The manatee exhibit is a great place for people to cool off when it gets hot.
Truly awesome zoo. We loved the penguin exhibit. You can get so close to them! Definitely an all-day trip to get the full experience.
Ansel Adams exhibit was good, but like all museums in Tampa, relatively small for the price.
It is one of the few museums in the United States dedicated exclusively to photography. Besides national and international exhibits, they provide various workshops. Students have admission discount!

The giant gorilla at the entrance and the sculptures along the paths make for great photo ops!

Easter at the aquarium is worth it as a member. Scavenger hunt for eggs in the exhibits which gets your little ones a dippin dots treat. Pictures with the Easter bunny.
A smaller aquarium, but there are several interactive exhibits that kids will love. Also, don't forget to bring towels and bathing suits for the free splash park behind the aquarium.
Exhibits are neat. The petting areas with the handlers are awesome. They really know their animals and talk about them with joy.

To see the Cheetahs running in the morning, turn right after you pass the Guest Services building and head straight there when you enter the park.

I was skeptical this would be worth the $39 per person price, but it was TOTALLY worth it. The tour guide was funny & knowledgable. Feeding the giraffes is the highlight of the tour & it is AWESOME.
Everyone should do this. The giraffes are beautiful and they come right up to the truck. Will do again
