The lunch counter La Teresita has grown into a lovely restaurant complex,with a large, lively dining room. service is swift and weekday lunch specials are recommended. Café con Leche is a must.
The new Caramel Flan Frappachino is awesome. Salty, sweet, creamy and enough sugar for an all day high. Also, try the Casi Cielo brew for a smooth morning brew for a limited time in January.
Two staff were overrun with folks just at noon. Both worked really well and still smiled. Cool place to hang out for a while!

The sampler, the VTXL burger, the quesilla (Venezuelan flan) were delicious! I don't usually order burgers, but the VTXL burger was worthy of an exception.

Fun atmosphere - all kinds of pirate/nautical kitsch. Large bar with two aquariums. Nice outdoor seating, too. Good prices. The Cuban pork is delicious.

If you want something spicy in your taco or burrito, try Cochinita Pibil. It's pork marinated in citrus, colored with annato seeds, and slow-roasted in a banana leaf. Sounds crazy, but very tasty! Read more.
