The staff is helpful and the location is nice w/ the outdoor space; Wear your most hipster outfit, studded shorts for girls and all men should dress like a speakeasy employee from the 20's.
A total hipster hangout but excellent coffee. Well worth the wait for fantastic coffee. Just ignore the indignant stares from some of the staff.

Beautiful and iconic performance space. A must see. Seating in the balcony is better than floor seats in the back of the main level.

The tilapia criolla is one of my favorites paired with the rice and beans side. Sandwiches are freshly made and affordably priced for downtown. Can't go wrong.

This Cubano is delicious, and the key to its success is the citrus-garlic-marinated, cumin-rubbed lechon asado and the perfect toasting (whoever is operating the plancha needs a raise).
Good Music, Coffee and Sandwiches. Free wifi makes this spot great for a morning meeting or work a couple of hours.

Beautiful Theater. At Once, get here when the doors open and have a drink on the stage. They also repeat this at intermission.
The theatre itself is absolutely stunning! Check out www.broadwayinchicago.com for a list upcoming Broadway shows in Chicago. There is a Garrett's popcorn located just a door down from the theatre.
The Oriental Theatre is AMAZINGLY beautiful with fabulous ornate decor. Pay attention to the intricate details all around you!
