So... Everything we had, and I mean EVERYTHING was superb. Mexicana skillet, cinnamon roll pancakes, biscuits and gravy, then topped off the meal with red velvet French toast. It's worth the wait!
Popular breakfast spot. It was surprisingly a good deal. The pancakes were awesome & so was my breakfast skillet with eggs chorizo avocado jalapeño & hash browns.
The Mexican skillet is awesome!! Ask for jalapeños.

I love walking over there on my lunch break!!! A lot of things to choose from and I always buy the cheese from the people that heat it up on a skillet in their tent - so delicious!!
Salsas Vallarta has really fresh salsas and hummus available. The Jalapeño Salsa - Hot is my favorite! Also, there's lots of great places to sample different cheeses.
River Valley Ranch on the corner of Clark & Washington is a must! Their $10 mushroom mix bags and tamales are to die for!
Only get the steak skillet if you want to feel like you're having a heart attack.

A little hole in the wall place...very friendly staff and good food for the price. Try the BBQ pulled pork. Very good for 7.95 in downtown chi-town.

This was a nice hidden gem we found after waking up late one day craving breakfast. The skillets were great and very filling for one person. Personally I like the Santa Fe and the American.

Best wings in town. Where else do you get a trio of sauces as sidecars to dunk each wing into? Buffalo sauce it seriously addicting here.
If you order the fish and chips, use the vinegar provided but skip the tartar sauce; it's just too mayonnaise-y. Also, be aware that the porch deck with the awesome views doesn't open until 4:00 PM.
Great local spot with proper attitude. Know what you want and keep the line moving!! Grab the two Chicago dog special for ~$10 if you’re hungry.

Reuben was grilled-cheese-greasy, but still one of the best I've had. Had spicy pickles on it, an interesting touch. Sides were pretty greasy as well. Excellent service.
The honey sriracha chicken and waffles is one of the greatest things I've ever eaten.
Great burgers and reubens in a cool diner atmosphere with all-day breakfast options. Fries are just so-so.
