Yakitori (dipped in egg yolk) here is the best! Food is very authentic and be sure to try the ice cream soju dessert!

The outside of Donburiya is misleading! Inside lies a huge authentic Japanese restaurant with great lunch specials. Complimentary tea is served, and I recommend the spicy vegetable ramen.
Authentic Chinese food which can accommodate vegetarians. Get the scallion pancake & go for the steamed vegetable buns (VEGGIE SOUP DUMPLINGS). Can't find those anywhere. No ambience & cash only.
A surprisingly authentic Hong Kong experience. Duck Ramen is the best. And of course soup dumplings and scallion pancakes. Mmm mmm mmm mmm

Excellent post-Broadway destination. Good value for the price, try one of their tasting menus. Nice atmosphere for Midtown. Efficient service. All sushi dishes were very fresh.
Unreal lunch.
Lobster and seabass with shiso onigiri are good. No tips needed but the service is good. The sumeshi was made too loose and a little over seasoned. Recommend to do lunch takeout.

$50 omakase with fresh fish, probably the best value for your $. Space to seat about 10 people at the bar with 2 sushi chefs. Truly a hidden gem.
some of the freshest sushi I've had that bests some other much more expensive options. they frequently also give you free sake if you're friendly :)

Satsuki is a 10 seat omakase sushi bar nestled within the discreet underground Suzuki restaurant. A must visit for any sushi lover.

I love this bar. Laidback, no nonsense izakaya with excellent Japanese pub grub and Suntory Premium Malts lager on draft. Try one of the kushiyaki skewer sets and the yellowtail jalapeño rolls.

Try the Yakimochi -a mochi filled with slightly sweet, semi sweet red bean filling, garnish with black sesame, then grilled for a texture that is simultaneously crunchy, flaky and chewy.
Chef’s selection (omakase) is only $60 during lunch! Such a great value.. they have A5 wagyu and Hokkaido uni. Reserve a bar seat!
