If you have the sushi dinner (with California roll) it is worth the extra $5 for the special California roll. It is delicious! (My favourite part of this meal).

Attention Annex Sushi lovers. Akai on Harbord is the best sushi to be found between those noisy Bloor Street joints and College and twixt Bay and Bathurst. Chef is careful and ingredients fresh.

Great food! Had the beef tartare app, Cornish hen main and lemon tartlet desert. All amazing! Stage has great sight lines and the sound is well done. All good!! Will most def go back.

If you are going for teppanyaki, you will get covered by oil so avoid wearing your wool sweater or silk shirt. Also avoid sitting along the west wall. The air flows from the door towards the wall.
