Really enjoyed this place! Got the spring rolls, tornado tuna, dumplings, duck & chicken teriyaki & enjoyed all of the dishes. Very fun vibe & fairly cheap as well
Gyu Kaku is a great yakiniku chain from Japan. The menu is well planned, well priced, and delicious. The atmosphere is fun and great for groups.

everything is honestly really bland, you can tell they try to be creative with their dishes, but it isnt working at all.
All you can eat Japanese! Realllly great value for very decent quality sashimi and yakitori!
The teriyaki here is really good. I love the teriyaki chicken don! It's a big bowl of rice with teriyaki sauce and crispy chicken. I like it more than the bento bc u get more sauce and it's mixed in.

Dynamite roll is fantastic! For lunch get the bento box, you can't go wrong.
If you are going for teppanyaki, you will get covered by oil so avoid wearing your wool sweater or silk shirt. Also avoid sitting along the west wall. The air flows from the door towards the wall.
The okonomiaki was unexpectedly good. Would definitely recommend it.

Great food! Had the beef tartare app, Cornish hen main and lemon tartlet desert. All amazing! Stage has great sight lines and the sound is well done. All good!! Will most def go back.

Attention Annex Sushi lovers. Akai on Harbord is the best sushi to be found between those noisy Bloor Street joints and College and twixt Bay and Bathurst. Chef is careful and ingredients fresh.
Pay just a bit more for way better quality than the sushi joints on Bloor. Super friendly people who sometimes give you bonus appetizers with your takeout order!

Sake Sushi is a small all you can eat place that (by its clientele) seems popular among college students. The menu items are unique, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We'll be back!

PRIDE 2012 TIP: Seating here is very limited, but their takeout is fast. Carefully made sushi at a reasonable price is what Kawa is known for. Try the salad rolls if you're going rice-free. Read more.
