Delicious Japanese 'home-cooking'. The udon and donburi choices are the best imo. They never disappoint.
Authentic and tasty curry and katsu-don dishes. Also get the potato croquettes. Lunch prices are solid.

Fresh will always have a special place in my heart: it was my first vegan restaurant and I've celebrated many a birthday and special event there. I love the sweet potato fries and the rice bowls!

It's all about the Bliss Bowl! Freshii serves up salads, wraps and rice bowls that are consistently top quality. Don't let the strange ordering system put you off.

Great quality sushi. Worth walking a block south of the maki mile of sushi spots on Bloor.
Attention Annex Sushi lovers. Akai on Harbord is the best sushi to be found between those noisy Bloor Street joints and College and twixt Bay and Bathurst. Chef is careful and ingredients fresh.
Pay just a bit more for way better quality than the sushi joints on Bloor. Super friendly people who sometimes give you bonus appetizers with your takeout order!
Best food on the menu: spicy tuna hand roll, and the beef roll.
