Attention Annex Sushi lovers. Akai on Harbord is the best sushi to be found between those noisy Bloor Street joints and College and twixt Bay and Bathurst. Chef is careful and ingredients fresh.

Almost everything is good here. I like the soft shell crab, the udon soups, the spicy salmon maki (crunchy!), and the sashimi!
Love this place! Everything is always super fresh and sashimi is thick. They just need a renovation. Try the spyder hand roll.
What can I say... this place has the best spicy salmon rolls I have ever had!! No exaggeration! Have gone there since 2007 and never fails to live up to my high expectations.

Great place, owned by the same people as Buster's. Try the lobster roll, calamari po boy or halibut tacos.
Try the sandwiches. The sauce they put on is incredible, and the slaw is great too!
Darcy has it wrong. Grilled char, crab cakes and even Hali tacos were great. Fries were damn tasty.

Just wow. Hands down best sushi I've had in TO. Great prices, excellent quality fish, and innovative. The Ahi tataki was excellent and the pressed tuna surprised my taste buds!
