the best and most dense sourdough you will find in Toronto. can't go wrong with Baldwin Brown. stock up and the bread freezes well.
Very delightful bakery that makes some mean bread. I can basically recommend everything here. They also put together a proscuitto/roast veggie sandwich that puts other Kensington fast food to shame.
Probably Toronto’s best sourdough and Liberty Village’s best coffee. Buy a jar of the Saskatoonberry jam to take home!

Nice bakery with a few vegan options. The fruit crisp and chocolate peanut butter square are my faves. The sour dough bread is also great. They also have creative salads for take-out.

Everything, but I particularly enjoy the Poulet Plat. Their sourdough bread the provide to start is out of this world.

Lovely staff. Incredible bread. Lots of variety. Always have a hard time choosing. Personal fave is the cracked black pepper loaf. Also the brioche filled with jam to satisfy my sweet tooth.

The duck pate, and cod dishes were delicious. Awesome romantic spot in midtown. Although there is no seating on the patio, take your drink outside, and enjoy the amazing view of the Toronto skyline.
