lovely place to sit and eat and people watch! the avocado toast was alright, although the tomatoes were unripe on it, but I think that was bad luck!! word of warning-they only take credit card!

A classic NYC weekend brunch spot near The Met. Try the Eggs Benedict. The desserts are also fantastic, especially the Sant Ambroeus (chocolate mousse cake).
I love Eli's! Awesome beer & spirits selection. The entire front opens during warmer months which make this an excellent place to spend an afternoon people watching. Dog friendly.

Finally! A new specialty coffee shop close to the UES 86th subway (on the same location as the recently closed Petite Shell). Everything tasted terrific so far, from espresso, cortado to batch brew.

American breakfast is worth it. Morning pastries worth the trip to the gym. Library laid back atmosphere. Service could be more attentive.

Every single time I come here, I have high hopes - I really want to like it. I am always sorely disappointed, mostly because the staff has a sour, snotty attitude. Good for people watching though...

Best and most friendliest (usually) SB's in the UES. GREAT place to study and people watch, esp eves. Hang a bit & seat will open up. Watch out for late am nanny/baby crazy hour & after school.
Great friendly staff and good service. If you need to work or study, if a table just angle for a one for a bit and then you'll be set in the friendly Starbucks in NYC !! It's worth a little wait...
I've if my favorite Starbucks. Friendly staff. Only complaint is they allow people to sit forever. The seniors occupy the outside for hours with dogs leaping no room to just sit for five minutes

Very tasty sampling menu - though pretty pricey. Sat on the bench outside & people watched. Artisan root beer was gorgeous - alongside the crab claw, pickle, lobster, crab & shrimp rolls w/ CC chips
The Taste of Maine is a great way to taste the lobster, shrimp, and crab rolls. Grab a tasty blueberry soda and the salt and vinegar chips. The lobster bisque is delicious and chock full of lobster
Best deal in town: Lobster Roll, Chips, Pickle and Soda. Not to mention, buy 10 rolls and the 11th is free. Not hard to do
