Black truffle quesadilla is out of this world! Also, try the medium guacamole; it has pomegranate and pineapple. Definitely my new favorite place in the UES!
The ambiance, service and food were all outstanding. We had a lovely waiter who was fun and engaging. Don't miss the mango & pomegranate guacamole mixed with any combination of homemade tacos. YUM!
Great Margaritas (my fave is: De la Calle), amazing (!!!) guacamole with pomegranate, incredible ceviche, quesadillas, churros.The best Mexican fine dining I've ever had! Highly recommended in NYC!!!
Sour cherry rice is relish! Try the chicken pomegranate stew and the lamb shank for entrees! Bakalava is to die for.
The chicken stew with pomegranates and nuts is very delicious! The beef stew has something on top, I think it's a truffle, be ready for an explosion of flavor in your mouth!
Ask for tahdig (sounds more like ta'dik). Not on the menu, bit they serve it. Delicious!
The pomegranate rasberry tastes like a red flinstone vitamin. My suggestion is to skip it

If you're not sure what to order, go with the Family style menu...a little bit of everything plus their wonderful stew in pomegranate sauce. I also loved the persian tea (black tea with fresh mint)

My go-to froyo place! Recently tried pomegranate with nutella, cookie crumbs, & yogurt chips. You'll want to beg for mercy b/c its too good it's almost bad, but it's great to splurge a bit. ;)

Did not have restaurant week menu on weekend, so pricier than planned... but definitely worth it - all the food and service and atmosphere was wonderful (even as a hotel restaurant)!!!

Really good vindaloo, excellent service! Our water glasses never went below 1/4 full and we were meeting a friend from Ohio so even after we paid we stayed to talk & they brought water.
Great service! Very nice and friendly staff. And the food was delicious. Garlic naan was my favorite. But tikka masala was great too. The rice pudding was a nice way to top it off.

Even though Magnolia is known for their cupcakes, you can't pass up the Banana Pudding! TO DIE FOR!!!
I don't even like bananas and I think the banana pudding is amazing. Red velvet is the real winner, though.
