The Wall Street Journal: Worth trying at this posh but low-key place: the two-course prix-fixe lunch ($8) with vegetable dumplings stuffed with shiitake mushroom, sweet corn and peanut, plus steaming pad see ew with beef. Read more.
New York Habitat: Good prices with unique and tasty options. Start with the vegetable dumplings and then move on to the drunken noodle. Get it extra spicy!

The Corcoran Group: The newest of the 3 Smith restaurants, this one is a welcome addition to the area. We love to start with the potato chips and blue cheese fondue, followed by the lobster roll or roasted chicken salad.
