Great venue for concerts right in the heart of downtown whether classical or rock music. I recommend UVA wine bar right around the corner for pre or post event.

Saw Ray Lamontagne here and it cemented as my favorite concert and venue in Vancouver. However, the seating isn't staggered so if you sit behind somebody taller, you may be leaning sideways.
Go in here early to your favorite band's concert. Save yourself a spot right in front of the stage. Bring a camera and take lots of pictures!

Superb downtown location with excellent facilities, excellent food and drink and superb views of all the Vancouver Whitecaps action. They'll even open the roof on summer nights. What's not to love?

My fav movie theatre in Vancouver! Get the big kid pack - Beer, small portion of popcorn, and candy. Best thing ever!
If you're coming here for a concert watch out for parking! The lot right beside the Coliseum is $20 for special events. Steep ratings!!
Concerts here are decent. The sound isn't the best quality, but the venue is chill & can hold quite a few people.

Great place to spend the day during the Summer! Tends to get busy, but it's easy to walk along the seawall to another beach.

Awesome, awesome hipster dance hall. Try to go on Ice Cream Social night or when they have a DJ. Hot dogs outside were delicious (corn salsa).

Perhaps the most expensive art gallery I've attended, but the shows tend to be excellent and membership mitigates the entry fee.
Quick tip: On Tuesday evenings (5-9pm), the entrance fee is by donation.

When you go to the bathroom on the second floor you can feel the music through the floor. Enjoy.
Great for folks who are into rap, lots of good shows, esp. their friday night is always fun. I'm personally big fan of the middle floor/project space and the events there!
