Huge club with a great dance floor! Just watch out for fat bitches on crowded nights looking to lift your wallet. Just another reason to keep the fishes out!
last 2 times I was there for a show, broken glass all over dance floor (they let bottles on the floor not plastic cups) Drunks (guys) were assaulting women to get 'up front' Security blew it off

A great historic venue with classy decor, ambiance, acoustics and a wooden dance floor that feels like its gonna cave in underneath you when everybody's hopping!

Awesome, awesome hipster dance hall. Try to go on Ice Cream Social night or when they have a DJ. Hot dogs outside were delicious (corn salsa).
After 1am the likelihood of slipping and falling on the dance floor increases by factor of all the spilled drinks - so a lot. Still always a good time though :)

Very clean and well-maintained facility. Intermission drinks are a surprisingly well-organized affair.

Beautiful time with the family. Dress warmly (toque, mitts, and boots). Dancing lights are very neat. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and it is very crowded.
On another night in the city we ventured over to see the incredible holiday light show at the VanDusen Botanical Garden. It was pretty spectacular with its many lights and paths to wander through. Read more.
Weeknights are peaceful here, a beautiful little getaway :) open till 9p in the summer months.
Surprisingly large with 3 levels. The place to drink or dance when you want to avoid the Granville strip.
The upstairs in a great place to lounge even when it turns into a wild dance party after 9pm
The lobby rocks in the evening! Dance jazz accompanied by oysters & sashimi platter :) Spacious modern rooms, too. And the breakfast is worth each of 40 bucks it costs.
