A bit disappointing. Very "safe" meaning little spice and flavour. Not authentic indian food nor decor. I had spinach lentil soup which was good. Garlic naan good. Veg korma, nothing special. Bland.
Try less famous Southern Indian cooking, such as cod in coconut gravy, lamb cooked in shallots, garlic and curry leaves, or pappadam "nachos." Read more.
The shahi korma is fantastic and so was the lamb roganjosh. I frequent Indian restaurants and this was amazing.
A Taste of India evokes an earlier time from the 1960s-70s of Vancouver's West End when Indian cuisine seemed exotic. The ambience seems frozen in time. Try tikka chicken with a Taj beer and relax. Read more.
The local salmon was prepared beautifully! So fresh. The shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms were my favorite.
Great view, and the new bistro-style menu works — try the carrot and fennel soup and mac & cheese to start, then the AAA burger. It's worth every penny, especially with the $3 poutine upgrade. Read more.
