This restaurant is small so it's hard to get a table! Also the unagi donburi is very good.
Forget the old Cali roll etc. try the speciality rolls. The oshisushi rolls are to die for. Beautiful presentation too!

Head upstairs for the best atmosphere of Vancouver's Guu franchise. Don't go to similarly-named Gyu downstairs. All the Izakaya classics are fantastic. Tuna Tataki and chicken karaage are musts.
