I had a simple plate of ravioli with tomato sauce: a squid in ink with polenta; and, to make things easy, a roast chicken. None would have been acceptable at half the price.

Quite simply the best restaurant in Venice. Claudio, the owner is a delight and the food is everything you dream about. We ate here every night of our stay and we'd go back RIGHT NOW if we could!

Great food, the pasta with the squid was one of the best I've had. It is suite expensive though, so stick to just one plate and eat dessert and coffee at another place.

This lovely Bacaro is situated at the bottom of the Rialto Bridge, very close to the market offers a spectacular view over the Grand canal. Enjoy some nice cicchetti and try their well selected wines.
