Best happy hour in DC! Get the salmon, eel, and fatty tuna roll with scallion. Rainbow roll, shrimp tempura are a close second. Yellowtail was a nice addition. Spicy tuna roll was only okay.
The rainbow roll and mackerel nigiri tastes so fresh and flavorful. Excellent bar seats with great view of 17th st. For a moment you forget you are in DC.

Dragon Fire roll is my go to, but you really can't go wrong at Tono. Best, cheap sushi in the city-- hands down.

Good place to sate your Japanese food cravings! The tonkatsu ramen is absolutely fantastic -- get a second helping of noodles for $3. Other things on the menu have small portions but big prices 😒

The pinapple fried rice and drunken noodles are my favs. Great sushi and ambiance. There's an enclosed outside area with air conditioning to give u the feeling of being outside with comfort

A great addition to the mid-priced sushi restaurant segment. Sit at the bar and ask the server what they recommend. The Spanish mackerel and white tuna are lovely and buttery.
Sit at the bar for a free snack (usually) lol All the rolls are good but the Superman tops the list!

Definitely a respectable Thai restaurant. The larb chicken was delicious, the crispy duck was flavorful, and the service was friendly.
This is an hidden gem. I'm very very picky when it comes to sushi and I was a little bit sceptical at the beginning. I was wrong: the quality of the nigiri is exceptional, and yet very affordable!
Go to Sakana and get the grilled eel.
