Kat L: Splurge for fatty tuna. Grilled eel no better than cheaper eel. Eel tempura and avocado is excellent. Yellowtail only okay - nothing special. Spicy tuna is very nice but not a must.
Kat L: Best happy hour in DC! Get the salmon, eel, and fatty tuna roll with scallion. Rainbow roll, shrimp tempura are a close second. Yellowtail was a nice addition. Spicy tuna roll was only okay.
Jules Weiss: Several delicious uni options: Maine & Cali uni sashimi, uni & tofu dish, uni tempura. Intimate ambiance, great service, love it.

Morgan Haines: The duck carbonara was delicious. And the small portion is gigantic! Shrimp tempura reminds me of bang bang shrimp from bonefish grill... Yum!
Esteban Mejías: The Carolina Shrimp Tempura is a MUST
Hal Mackins: Super solid food, even more impressive given that this is DC's largest restaurant. Loved the PB&J donuts and the fried chicken sandwich. Kisha was a great server, too.

Demetrius Bagley: my foodie buddy Patrick Kwan notes "delicious vegan ramen at 1 am.... Tempura Brussels sprouts with white truffle oil and Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen"
Mrfantastic8000: I wasn’t sure about the ramen craze! Since then I’ve been here 3 times! Love the ramen! I get the spicy pork based ramen and chicken ramen. The Jinya Tongatsu Black that is my favorite! Get it!
Amanda Beth: The Tonkotsu black is a lot of flavor to handles! Delicious soup with TONS of noodles, and well accented with crispy onions and some garlic! Hearty portion that will leave you very full

Mike F: Shrimp tempura is very good. Don't think it was great tempura (coating was off a bit), but it was possibly about the best fried shrimp I've had in recent memory.
Brittany Cooper: The mussels and cider glazed grilled porkchops are incredible. Finish your meal with the Coffee Almond Fudge Ripple Sunday.
Washingtonian Magazine: You can count on good burgers and soups but the standout dish is the most out-there: a salt-rimmed margarita glass filled with lime-marinated bay scallops, tequila ice, and sour cream.

Jennifer Richardson: Sushi is really good and fresh. I especially like the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura.
Jeff Duong: Delicious and the prices were reasonable. I ordered a five spice duck noodle soup while my three friends and I shared a spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll. The shrimp tempura roll was quite good!
Kurtis Shank: Kapow, pad Thai, and the wings were all exceptional. The Kapow was authentic, and seasoned perfectly!
