Absolutely one of the best spots in Williamsburg. So charming, and the food was UNREAL. We ate the Burrito and the “room for mushroom”. CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!
Mock eel's flavor and crunch is spot on like the traditional non-mock dish; ends up with juicy umami packed mushrooms - it's great. Get the soup dumplings, ants on a tree, and the crispy chicken!
They weren't kidding about the mock eel — amazing. (And this is coming from someone who usually hates mushrooms!)
Mock eel was so good! (It's fried mushrooms) I also liked the pork fried rice and the pork soup dumplings.
The Tartufo is a nice change of pace from tomato-y pies: crisp crust, earthy mushrooms, just a hint of rosemary & truffle oil but not overpowering.

The dipping style Kinoko Tsukcjil Udon- Cooked variety of mushrooms dipping sauce - is my go to favorite. Also. Never skip out on the black sesame ice cream for dessert. One of the best.
If you're craving for a nice bowl of udon noodles, go here! I love the kinoko (mushroom) kake udon served hot. I recommend adding a poached egg and pork belly on top!

Great vintage space with seating outside in a lovely patio area when weather allows. Brunch was fantastic and no crowd on a Saturday at 11am. Can’t go wrong with pasta here.

The sampler apps they serve to start your meal are a nice treat and the dishes as spicy as you could want them. The mushroom tacos are a nice fusion dish as well
The mushroom & tofu tacos, both spicy, are delicious & chock full + veggies; $4 each. Love the potato salad in the banchan which you don't get everywhere. Excellent bibimbap & BBQ too. Happy tummies!
