Viharamahadevi Park is probably one of the best places to relax during hot days in Colombo. Otherwise it's not worth staying for more then one day. Get your souvenirs at Odel 🎁
Snorkeling is a must. You don't have to swim even 100m to see the awesome corals and the fish. But remember most of the corals are razor sharp. Best time to snorkel is in the morning hours.
they guarantee at least one whale sighting, but sometimes it'll be very minimal after hours on the boat. they advertise free wifi that doesn't exist, but you should be watching for whales anyway
My most loved place. Visit here in the evening and sit on some corner and just listen to breeze. It is the perfect medicine for your mind.
This place is highly recommended. Within the "Tooth Temple" complex. Comprehensive tour of the different forms of Buddhism and landmarks around the world, not just Sri Lanka. Worth the entrance fee.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the cave temples were originally built in the 1st century BC by King Wattagamini Abhaya. Be sure to visit all 5 ancient caves featuring granite carved statues. Read more.
