Ok, all the hipsters like this place and the espressos aren't bad - but I can't get into it. Compared to Blue Bottle's roast, I always get a tinny, unpleasant metallic taste with Ritual.
Decent enough - a hit or miss with the baristas. Good space but no outlets for work -- but who wants to work in a noisy hipster coffee shop anyways?
A relative newcomer on the scene, it's making big waves with the technies in SOMA. Not bad - better than Ritual and Four Barrel and on some days as good as or better than Blue Bottle.
Unless you're into the bearded "I look vaguely homeless" look - why? The coffee is dark dark burnt dark & hopped up on sugar. It's a sweet sycophant drink that will get you buzz - but not much else.
Make a good use of today's sun and sit in their incredible back patio.
