While the Villas say they only have a villa view from the hillside, mine has a great bay view.
Jenn MFebruary 22, 2015Plan on getting a workout if you choose to walk to and from your villa! Still, the building/guests/residents are like friends and family. Wonderful accommodations.
Bar service is not slow or rude. We're in the islands. People need to adjust and relax. The staff has been outstanding and I've enjoyed myself immensely!Upvoted 3 weeks ago
Carolina CoelloMay 16, 2014Love the Westin here at St John. Great service, wonderful views whether you are at the restaurant or your room. Easy to go to town or the beaches and come back.
Hotel rooms are all close to the pool, buildings 10 and 16 are beachside. Lots of activities for free: paddle boards, kayaks, floats, swim platforms, pedal boats, etc. Other gear for rent.
Jeanette CostaApril 7, 2013Beautiful hotel! Great staff, great food awesome pool and beach what more can you ask for?- Villas are nice. Buildings 21-23 are closest to the beach, 24-27 further up the hill, 31-34 across the road and way up the hill.
Scott KleinNovember 26, 2011The iguanas wander around the beach bar in the morning and get fed at 3. Shortly afterward they retreat to the trees. Plan your visit accordingly.

Car rental onsite, O'Connors very helpful and work really hard to find you a car!

Lynne KnowltonMay 6, 2013Rent a villa in building 26 or 27. They are much newer and have a full kitchen , dining area and sleeps 6.- Get the pool view or garden view room... you're right in the center of it all
@JaumePrimeroJanuary 25, 2012A perfect getaway from the winter! One weekend here and you will be healed!- Nicest villas, buildings 41-44, have private pools. However, location is worst... next to the road, on the non-beach side, still lots of construction.
- Westin Villas are magnificent looking after the rennovations. Nown again looks like a world-class resort.
Due to a recent storm knocking out the hotel beach, they now offer free taxis shuttles to the islands top beaches.
NEWS ALERT >> The Ritz isn't in St. John! Bwahhh!!! Oh wait -- you wanted St. John? The Westin is the place to be.
Watch out for iguanas jumping from the center planters in the pool to swim to the pool deck. Yikes!
Freecycle on the property never know what they'll have, lots of sand buckets and toys.
Take advantage of the free beach shuttles to Trunk Bay, Cinnamon, and Hawksnest!
This place keeps a gorgeous macaw next to the men's bathroom under a blinding, consistent light all night. What a shame for such a special animal. Laziness + incompetence = Westin

Zack LaraMay 29, 2011Naw forget the iguanas. If they see you while they're eating the pink flowers they'll think you look like a kitten, and that my friends is bad news if you follow me.
This place is so dirty! I will never stay here again! The staff here treats you like a piece of crap! The ritz is 100 less. That's were I'm going next year!
Watch out for arrogant and rude Midwesterners. They need to take stick out of their ass.
