- The Ritz-CarltonMarch 25, 2016Whether you hike or take the cable car, get the best views of Atlanta from the top of Stone Mountain. Look southwest for grand views of Atlanta and north to where the Blue Ridge Mountain range begins.
- Buy the annual pass. Hike up the mtn. It is windy on top so wear appropriate clothes. Do NOT try to hike when it's raining/sprinkling. It gets SOO slippery. Bike riding is also fun and challenging.

- ThelocaltripperJanuary 30, 2017This is just a 30 min drive from downtown Atlanta! What an awesome place, full of activities that you probably won't be able to do in one day. Great place for pictures and I spotted some deers!
- You can hike the mountain or go around it, either is a good workout. Beautiful trails and lake and lots to do. Get there early for parking.

- If you're in the Atlanta area, this is definitely a great place to check out. The largest bas-relief in world (bigger than Rushmore!) plus a LOT of other fun things to check out!
