- This is the greatest pub in London. Fact. Wonderful food, top beer selection, excellent vibe. But after countless visits over 5 years, I have to admit the service is utterly shambolic. Love ya Horsie.
- @LuckyHampstead is awesome. Great indoor / outdoor seating. Great food too & serve a great pint of @CamdenBrewery Beer in nice big glasses
- Pete HarmerSeptember 1, 2018Good selection of Camden Town Brewery beers (this is where it was first brewed), good atmosphere and impressive changing menuUpvoted Apr 1
- Cyndie Da RochaDecember 26, 2021Excellent choice of craft beers, one of the only places in Hampstead with a few seats left on Saturday.
- The steak may get the accolades but I bring everyone here for the fish & chips - not greasy like a chippy at all and def one of the best in town
- Aidan HornsbyJanuary 11, 2015Terrific beer selection (unsurprising — this is the home of the Camden Town Brewery) and a great vibe. The food is good, but not cheap.
- Marc RosesJune 25, 2014Couldn't stop nodding my head to the chilled out classics whilst waiting to be served. The service leaves something to be desired..however the vast selection of beer and haddock is to be tried!!
- euroner gJuly 24, 2013At lunch time they serve complementary fresh baked bread just with butter, salt and pepper...delicious. Lunch itself was perfect too.
- Seriously love The Horseshoe. Great atmosphrere, great location, great place and nice decor too... A Gastro Pub with character....
- The revamped horseshoe is great. Menu in bar is schnitzel and wurst the spatzle side is great - add leeks.
- LiamSeptember 15, 2013Amazing roasts, great atmosphere, great decor, great staff. And cheap! Perfect lazy Sunday joint.
- Time Out LondonMarch 28, 2012The good news is the Horseshoe – home of the small Camden Town Brewery – keeps its front bar tables reservation-free on Sundays. The bad news is you have to be here at noon to nab a table. Read more
- Morella FOctober 19, 2015I absolutely love this pub. It has such a great atmosphere and good choice of food and drinks!
- Ham hock to start followed by steak & chips. Can't go wrong. Great but limited menu.
- Changing menu, but we had amazing oysters and delicious lamb!
- Get a Gentleman's Wit and a Scotch egg. Take home a growler of beer and keep coming back 🍻
- Steak and truffled chips was pretty good. Fish and chips awesome.
- Eat in the front area and always err towards the special board if undecided on the menu.
- Ian GoughNovember 10, 2013Great atmosphere and dog friendly too. We had Sunday roast which wasn't great but not terrible either.
- Kornelija MaceviciuteFebruary 24, 2019Food balanced between mediocre and no taste for all in our group. Staff was not helpful, did not even come back to say “no” to our query. I’d only come back here for drinks if nothing else is open
- The wheat beer on draft was so good.. Unfortunately they don't have it anymore.
- Lubos SlovakNovember 19, 2011Amazing local Camden town wheat beer, very tasteful. Delightful chateaubriand! Try it
- Richard EvansJune 25, 2011Steak and battered haddock are both excellent. Great selection of beer as well!
- What used to be the greatest pub in London has been give a mediocre hipster refurb. The service has, somehow, become even more spectacularly awful than it always was. Such a shame.
- Nigel LuptonAugust 18, 2013Sunday Roast is average. Great meat but potatoes and Yorkshire puddings are reheated. Overpriced at £15
- Atmosphere is great. But not wild about selection on menu.
- CressidaMarch 27, 2013Lovely local place with great food but unfortuneately the service leaves a lot to be desired.
- Cormac CahillNovember 2, 2013Terrible. 40 minutes to get some eggs. Never told why it was delayed. When I complained they said 'new chef' and then 'stove broken'. Food was then delivered cold. Rubbish place.
- Rachel O' LearyJune 18, 2016Food is overpriced & poor. Service is even worse. Despite advertising at the front to say they show the football, I don't recommend!
