Neil ThomasApril 13, 2019Lovely pub, huge garden & covered heated spaces. Eaten 3 times b4, 2 just OK, Risotto was yummy. Today's Sausage Roll seamed reheated, flaky pastry too thin, just disintegrated. Overall disappointed
My favourite pub in Wansted. I would recommend a fish finger sarnie after a pint or two of Camden Hells
Get the BlueMoon on tap but ask for an orange...only pub that I've seen in London with it on tap! Just another reason to love this place.
Friendly family pub! The fish & chips and the chicken pie are my favs!

Lewis TJanuary 5, 2013We ordered fish & chips with onion rings as a side. Fish and onion rings were very greasy. Mains take 30 minutes to come to the table. Good large seating area - with many big tables.
Best M&B Castle brand I know of. Food is pukka tucker and the draft selection is brilliant. Say hello to the cat.

Rich ClareSeptember 10, 2010Great food, even if they did take over an hour to prepare it and then got our order slightly wrong. Try the calamari ;)- Bar staff are pretty average, but do let you know which dishes are quick - quality ale on tap, too :) Loved the Doom Bar!

Get one of their excellent roasts, or better yet, something from the bbq in the summer!

Amos MakMarch 24, 2013Average food and small portions. You have to order starters and afters to fill up making average cost of meal with drink 25 quid.....- Come for the beer garden and atmosphere but not the food. Tastes nice but you will have to wait two hours!
