Sally MayberryApril 29, 2014The 1222 Express coffee cart is located in the lobby and offers a wide variety of coffee-like drinks, as well as sandwiches and other types of food. 1222 Express is open from 6:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.- The food price is crazy eat at home or anywhere else I just spent $10 for for a bacon (2 pieces) 1 egg and 2 pieces of toast and a slice of cheese breakfast sandwich

The cafeteria is brand new as of July 15, 2010 and anyone can visit. You do have to go through security and a metal detector.
Very expensive. Avoid salad bar as they charge by the ounce.

Built in 1931, the building was originally a warehouse for the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis before the federal government acquired it in 1941. It is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
