- it may not say so on the menu, but almost everything avails in half portions, incl. soup, sandwiches, salads and even pasta! so mix n match half portions for a meal packed with taste and diversity!
- They do the simple dishes very well - scones, scramble with toast and sausage pasta. Wish the service could be better.

- can't decide what to have? order plenty of "sides"... they range from anything like roasted eggplant to ham shavings, egg mayo to Swiss cheese, mesclun salad to sliced avocado. yums.
- Great tuna sandwich and egg salad! Butterscotch milkshake also worth a shot!
- the pavlova is excellent with its cream filled center and passionfruit sauce. tea is very reasonably priced at $3.50 a pot.
- The barista that represented Singapore in the World Barista Championships in 2007 worked here. She might have passed on the tricks of her trade to her successors here. Try a double and tell me.

- Sticky date pudding is awesome (but have a light lunch first)
