Decor is period with original tiles and bar (by the looks of things). In this day and age something for vegan customers would be a good idea (only veggie option for a roast contains egg)

I don’t understand why the ratings are so low for this pub. 5+ cask ales in reasonable condition, a few keg craft beers for the hop heads, food inc roasts, lovely beer garden out front.

Came here on a whim with a friend and ended up having the most incredible Sunday roast. All the trimming and super tasty.

Recommended for pub tea fans! Good range of teas, reasonably priced, served in quaint individual tea pots. This may undermine your macho image however.

Im burger lover and I can say the burguer here it's the B E S T in Kennington and possibly in whole town!!! Nice price and very tasty!! Must try!!

Laid back atmosphere and drinks not overpriced but disappointed by the burger which lacked warmth, taste and even average quality ingredients. Might give other food a go. Replaced by the Ship for me.

Decent live music upstairs most Tuesdays. Tricky to explain where you are on the phone. Try Weston Cider from the bar.

Shame. Gruby pub poor service some think is cool. It's not. It's naff. Food rubbish. Place dirty. Go to tommyfields or cleaver square. Dog house - just sell to someone who gives a shit- please.

Pros: Nice looking pub, good music. Cons: Not cosy, weird menu - the starters/mains seem the wrong way round! Poor main selection for veggies (only nachos!?) drinks EXPENSIVE!! (£7 for 2 lemonades!!)

Given the wrong toppings on my hotdog and the waitress called me a liar. Will not visit again - food is amazing but service is the worst I've ever had.
