Chai tow kway (fried carrot cake). Elderly male chef is meticulous in his frying. Dish turned out yummy. Crispy but not burnt; enough chai por (chopped fermented turnip) to lend it some sweetness

For Halal food, order from Istanbul across. The operators encourage the shared space. But be considerate: if u will be mixing non-Halal food, don't dine at Istanbul's Halal-only tables
