- Nice vibe. Nice food. Nice garden. Arguably the nicest pub in Walthamstow.
- A sure sign that Walthamstow is on the up. If you'd seen this place before the refurb you'd understand why residents are so supportive and excited about the Bell. Great beers too.
- Excellent refurb. Kitchen has now opened and can highly recommend the food. Superb beer. Open fire. Family friendly. Pinball. Another fine pub for the Stow.
- Good beer, discount for CAMRA card holders. Nice refurb. Fantastic quiz night on Tuesdays. Pinball machine. What more could you ask for.
- Keith GreywoodJanuary 3, 2018This is what a pub should be. Fantastic beer, good food and a real buzz. Excellent!

- Ben RobraJune 19, 2015Very nice Sunday roast and fairly sized portions. They have a rather good selection of ales.
- Nice spacious pub that's also a family friendly place for lunch during the day.
- Have avoided day time due to reports of noisy kids and crèche vibe. Looks like people start streaming in at 7:30pm on Tuesdays - Quiz Night
- Try the roast; In the words of Larry David it was pretty good. Pretttttttty, pretttttttttty, pretttttty good."
- Jake WiderbergFebruary 7, 2013Good refurb. Still an honest boozer. Spacious, pinball, open fireplace. I approve.
- Beer good. Food ropey. Today's Sunday roast was still partly frozen. :-(
- Was more like a creche than a pub during the day - probably best to come after 8pm when it's Over 21s only. Pub quiz on Tuesdays.
- Lewis PainterMay 12, 2014The menu doesn't say it but the steak comes covered in garlic butter - great for some but not for me!
- Very good food across the board, but the scotch eggs are amazing.
- Gina MatthewsAugust 9, 2013He "Baby Bell"! No need to compromise just because you have kids. Weekdays much calmer than the terribly popular weekends.
- Proper busy on a Friday but fast becoming my favourite Stow pub.
- Closed for refurbishment, reopens October. Looking forward to seeing what they've done!
- New land lord/lady from 1/3/12. Might become a music venue.
