    At dinner time, the restaurant is less crowded, compared with lunch time. If you love yakitori(chicken skewers), eel skewers can be good option as well, not only hitsumabuai(ひつまぶし) or Unaju(鰻重). Try !

    The traditional eel is probably the best choice. Complete it with delicious vegetables and you will have a good dinner for a fair but not cheap price.

    So many ways to enjoy Unagi...Unaju, Hitsumabushi, Kushi (skewers)...How about a few Kushi with Sake or Shochu to start, then move on to Hitsumabushi which offers three ways to savor the eel delights.

    Eel melts in your mouth - must try! Come to the opening at 11.30am, so you'll most probably find a seat.

    (5/5) Older unagi restaurant near Senso-ji known for their salt-grilled hitsumabushi (look up a how-to online as it's not immediately intuitive). Was a huge fan of the ochazuke portion!

    Had the Hitsumbashi and some skewers with pepper, chicken liver and Grilled chicken on the side. The eel was very good and the meal is highly recomended.

    Best time to visit is 1130 am when it opens else be prepared to wait.

    Delicious lunch. We took the 0.8 eel menu. We didn't have to wait, we were seated when we arrived (around 3 pm). The service is ok and there's an English menu.

    The best unagi ever! Travelled to Asakusa to find this restaurant. Didn't disappoint. Went in the afternoon when it wasn't crowded.

    Unagi is pretty good. Generally they have the usual sweet sauce unagi and salted unagi. Both offer 3 different ways of enjoying the dish. However it's a tad pricey.

    Salt unagi is good. The r sweet unagi is also good. Worth the walk from the asakuza

    The unagi was bland tbh & no, it did not melt in my mouth. With that price, expected better. Not sure why the rating for this place is so high. I've tasted better ones for sure. The soup tasted weird.

    ひつまぶし二人前頼むなら、二人分入った桶を注文した方がいいと教えてくれます。ひつまぶしは通常のものと塩ひつまぶしうな丼鰻重もあります。江戸前風と東京風?蒸してふわふわ柔らかいものと焼き目が香ばしいのとがあります。夜はガヤガヤと騒がしく活気があります。席間は狭い。あまりのんびりはしにくい雰囲気ですが、 お飲んでる方も結構いらっしゃいました。

    양념장어덮밥 먹었어요~ 둘이먹기에 딱 알맞아요~ 장어가 정말 부드러워요!!! 입에넣자마자 녹아버리네요^^ 먹는방법이 여러가지있는데, 개인적으로 와사비에 곁들어먹는게 맛있네요! 단무지같은 간단한 반찬이 나오는데 추가하면 추가요금받네요.. ㅜㅜ 그래도 추천해요!!! 평일이라 그런지 자리 많아서 기다리지않고 바로 먹을 수 있었어요!

    2015 12/5 20:45頃 TV東京系で放送のアド街ック天国の取材班がカメラ持って来店。この辺の特集を組むのではないかな?店主の「いらっしゃいませ!」の声が小さく制作会社に駄目出しされ店主がやや切れ気味だったのが印象的だった。自宅にTVが無く見れないのが残念だw。

    장어 덮밥 엄청 맛있음 한국어 메뉴도 있음 좀 비싸서 고민했지만 입에 넣자마자 감탄하며 그런 마음이 싹 사라짐!!

    塩ひつまぶしは、白焼きみたいな感じです。思ったほど塩気はなく、あっさり素朴。個人的には山椒塩との組合せがベスト。

    やっぱり塩ひつまぶしが最高です!あっさりさっぱり、でも香ばしくて病みつきになります。ちなみに、今は本店ではなく国際通り店に変更になりました!
