- jhachiroSeptember 14, 2013Red bean rice was similar to glutinous rice but healthier. Saba was just a-ok. If you like an authentic jap rice set, this place will be good for you to watch your calories.
TingDecember 23, 2016Food is horribly overseasoned. Ricewise depending on which type chosen, the seafood saffron is salty but the chestnut is ok. Not a fan of the texture though, too soft. Overall disappointing.

cost cutting appears to have struck. no more complimentary water or disposable napkins. food isn't bad, but overall the experience is poorer than before.
The sets are good too. Since the fishes are "Shio" style and already salty, pair it with a plainer/simpler flavor of rice.
Jaryl KohDecember 18, 2010Indeed, the rice is pretty good. But the grilled saba is a little too fishy and the the salmon too tough. Recommend to just get the rice to go.
Food's good, but if you hire foreign service staff simply because they're cheaper but can't even understand simple English then something is seriously wrong.
