Mazin AlFebruary 13, 2015The airport was named Andir Airfield. Husein Sastranegara Airport is named after an Indonesian aviation hero from West Java, Husein Sastranegara.
Not one of the best airports compares to others cities in Indonesia, however, this airport has improved A LOT since 2005, I can say huge improvement and just now (oct 2014) this airport is expanding!
IEAugust 18, 2014Small airport and so crowded (because it's a small place for an Internasional airport!). Free wifi on the second floor. Near from Pasteur street(i can reach it fast by Ojeg from home)

Se7enthAngelJuly 23, 2017Taxi TIPS: This distance is 2 Best Western- 4.5KMs. Thugs will hassle u 4 RP150,000. Some will take u for 75,000. Airport counter with coupon RP140,000. Your best bet? Metered Bluebird Cab:RP30,000.- As of May 2016, the new terminal has opened! More spacious, bigger and better design...Bandung airport is consistenly improving since 2004.

Leo GoodMarch 18, 20151st timer here. This airport is very small, crowded and packed with people though very limited in space. It's hot as well. Those with many bagages shall ask the porter to bring ur stuff.

The planes do not park nearby and there is no shuttle available to the terminals. You literally have to walk far away -- about half a mile. Hope you wouldn't carry so heavy things!
